Salon Style Arrangement at Base Georgetown, Seattle 2019

I displayed my Staintings at Base’s annual group show during Equinox’s Very Open House for Georgetown’s Second Saturday ‘Art Attack’ art walk. I actually lost my voice from four solid hours of discussing the work with enthusiastic art-walkers. Three separate times, people told me that they had been through the Equinox complex and these works stood apart as the best. Wow… that’s really high praise! Two people told me that they had never seen anything like it, which is my favorite compliment. I’m pleased that so many different types of people can see the serenity and the inspiration I’m attempting to convey. These art works are my heart and mind and hands.

They also go to something deeper; something in our basic psyche that responds to the color or forms, yet goes beyond being a human and an Earthling; someone worded it better at the event. I was glad he could perceive that cosmological aspect of my work. I wish I had the words myself, but I’ll just let the art express it. That’s why I’m compelled to create art in the first place.

I was finishing up a couple of them right up until the time of the event, such that I didn’t even get a chance to photograph them all. The green square one had two trees added, and was sold two hours later! Please if you have that one, send me a quick photo! And the smaller one with trees that was my first sale of the evening, if you see this, please send me a pic through the contact page. Email or text.

If you are one of the several people that didn’t get the one you wanted, or were considering a commissioned piece, or framing, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’m inspired and ready to jump in to some new specific pieces.

Thanks to all who purchased my art work.
